What is up with the skies?

  In the transiting sky of July 2011 Uranus in Aries is squaring Pluto in Capricorn, which  opposes Venus in Cancer. Uranus is also forming a square to Venus, so this is a big cardinal configuration that will be hitting Cancerians, Capricorns and Arians. It affects you if:

•  You were born in 1968-1969 (because this group is also experiencing their Uranus half- return or their mid-life crisis)

•  If you are Cancerian, Arian or Capricorns

• If you have planets sitting at 03-06 degrees of those cardinal signs Aries, Cancer or Capricorn.

•  If you know your chart and you have Pisces rising or Pisces in the first house, this adds an extra whack, as you may have no idea what is going on! You will be viewing the whole series of events through a murky glass of self-delusion.

What does it mean?

These outer planet transits usually just sweep us along with them, and we do not seem to have much power to do anything. If any personal planets are tangled up in the cardinal signs, then things could get personal, and probably life is just plain difficult! Squares and oppositions are hard to deal with and often we feel these as obstacles and difficulties.

For those simultaneously going through a Uranus return, things could seem extra hard. It is time to re-evaluate how you are living your life and whether what you are doing now, still has meaning for you. It is shake-up time!

These aspects of outer planets are usually signs of big mundane events – events in the natural world and in politics. The US is a Cancer, having their independence day on the 04th July.
